That's right, another something that absolutely had to be done. HAD TO BE. The Specials, The Stranglers, The Replacements, The Lords of The New Church, The Flying Lizards, Bauhaus, The Vapors, X-Ray Spex, Bow Wow Wow, Nick Lowe, Lew Lewis, The Drones, Generation X?! Then of course, if you aren't familair with those, there are the more obvious contributors, The Clash, The Sex Pistols, The Buzzcocks, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Joe Jackson, Gang of Four. You've also got the Stiff Records artists, the almighty punk label, home to Elvis Costello, Richard Hell, Ian Dury, and (I'd go the whole wide world, I'd go the whole wide word, just to find her) Wreckless Eric. There's also Factory records (which I got to in December), and a whole bunch of others.

Thank god for punk, even though it's not the greatest genre (greatest? not sure) Or thank Stiff Records. Or.. all of the artists I just mentioned.

As for recently released stuff- The Whigs' new album is decent. Especially if you're into Dinasour Jr. Also, The Whigs' website is rather impressive graphic-wise. Go check it out.
